NEW HERE-HUMILIATING STORY

Hello new friends! This is my first time posting. I really wanted to share an embarassing story.I was leaving a fast fod palce yesterday. I was attempting to get in the turning lane. Well there was traffic and I was patiently waiting for someone to let me out. Well I did finally make it to my lane. Wil waiting for my light to turn left a pick up truck was sitting to my right. The man was saying something to me so I put the window down. I sais I'm sorry I couldn't hear you. HE then went on to say"Are u happy u got some food ?" I was confused. I said exuse me? HE said well since you decided to get fod you made me have to sit at the light agian. Well i politely said"the light was yellow that's why someone let me out." he then went on to say "Do you really need any more food?" i was shocked! I told him u can't be married taliing that way. He then went on to say I am married and i sure would marry anything like that! as he pointed at my stomach.he just kept going asking me rude things like how much food I got and telling me i was disgusting! I mean all of this becuuse he had to sit at a light! I reside in Georgia. It was a hot day people had there windows down. was so embarrased. I did't let him see me cry. i just laughed at him and told him he needed anger management. I haven't told any friends this story.I told my boyfriend and mom but not all the things he said,i was too ashamed. I jus wanted to tell lsome people that maybe can relate. I have never had such a thing happen to me. Thanks for listening. I love this site! I hope 2 make some friends here that understand. I have bunches of questions too!! I am in the process of trying to get gastric.I am on my third month of my supervised diet. I have BCBC /ppo of Ill.that's why i posted here. not many Georgia people have this insurance that i know of. I found the IL forum had more experiencs with BCBS/IL. I had a lot of my questions answered already! THANKS FOR LISTENING

That is terrible how ppl can actually have the nerve to tell someone this. apparently he hasnt been through anything as we all have...struggling to lose weight and then fail...he needs a reality check...i would had gotten his license plate # and then presented to get his name and send him a little note remind him what he said to you after you get the gastric...let him eat his words once he sees the new you!...Don't let him get to you eventually he is just an angry old fart that doesnt know much of anything other then to put someone down to make him feel better....Hang in there, girl. your time will come....

Oh Sweetie, cyber hugs to you.  I have the same insurance but for me 4 years ago I did not have to do the supervised diet. Stop back in anytime and ask questions or if you just need a boost when feeling low like right now. Christine

I am so sorry you had to deal with such petty bull**** ********! Wow I would of had to call 911 and report him as a drunk driver, he must of been to act that way and then let a cop pull him over and humiliate him. What gives anyone the right to treat us that way!  you are among friends so always feel free to vent here!!!

Wow I am so sorry that happened to you.  I too have had some situations like that.  Most times I just act like I didnt hear it.  Good you didnt give him the satisfaction of seeing you cry.  Dont worry honey it wont be long before that redneck gets his.  You will be getting comments about how wonderful you look, or maybe even people telling you to eat more that you look to thin.  Anyway welcome to the site.   Ginny

What an asshole. People like that should be sterilized. Sorry you had to go thru that, thats terrible. But you can probably take comfort knowing that he is a miserable human being....His wife probably hates him and is having an affair on him anyway. Oh, and his dog pees on him all the time....Jerk

Some people just dont have manners!!!!! I have a story too. I was walking rather slow in the Walmart parking lot when we were buying a battery for our Motorhome. Some big person I mean BIG person said move your fat ass. I said who you talking too, He said you!!!!! Granted my ASS isntbig I weighed only 140 pounds at the time and had my plastics done and I was hurting big time!!!!!! I said if my ASS is so BIG take a picture it last lonnger and then look at yours!!!!!!!Carla
